Industrial-grade wireless RS-232 adapter with WiFi, Bluetooth & full modem signals. Built for CNC machines that refuse to retire.
Your CNC machines cost €100k+ and run flawlessly. The only problem? Transferring programs via tangled serial cables from the 1990s.
Long RS-232 cables across the shop floor get caught in machines, stepped on, and damaged — causing failed transfers and downtime.
Industrial device servers from Moxa or Lantronix cost €200–400+. That's overkill for removing a cable from a machine that has been running for twenty years.
€15 Chinese Bluetooth adapters skip modem signals, ignore hardware handshaking, and have no CE marking. Your CNC won't talk to them.
A DB9 RS-232 connector has 9 pins. Cheap Bluetooth adapters wire only TXD and RXD — the data lines. The other 7 pins control how data flows. Your CNC machine expects them. Without them, it refuses to talk.
The machine raises CTS to tell the PC it is ready to receive. Without it, data arrives too fast, the buffer overflows, and the transfer fails silently. No error — just corrupt G-code.
Before sending a single byte, CNC controllers check that DTR is active. If not, they ignore the connection entirely. No driver, no software trick fixes this.
Some controllers confirm the link is live by checking DCD. A floating pin looks like no cable — the machine waits forever. RS232Bridge holds DCD active.
RS232Bridge wires all 9 pins — every signal, every time.
Every pin, every protocol, every signal — designed to work with real CNC machines, not just lab demos.
All 9 pins: TXD, RXD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DSR, DCD, RI
WiFi 2.4 GHz (AP + Client) + Bluetooth Classic SPP
RFC 2217 — web terminal & file transfer. Works with com2tcp, hub4com & HW VSP3 for virtual COM on Windows.
Hardware switch via ADG734 — no null modem cable needed
USB 5V bus powered — no external supply
Delrin (POM) enclosure, impact-resistant — Made in Italy
Built-in web interface — set baud rate, parity, flow control from any browser
CE marked — RED 2014/53/EU, RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant
Dedicated Windows app — web terminal & direct G-code transfer, no driver needed
Automatic send/receive loops — transfer G-code without touching a cable
Compatible with any CNC or industrial device with a standard RS-232 port. Tested on real machines in a real workshop.
